1. Position:

Assistant Purchase Executive
2. Overview:
•
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Assistant Purchase Executive to support our procurement and supply chain
operations. The Assistant Purchase Executive will work closely with the
Purchase Manager and other departments to ensure the timely and cost-effective
acquisition of goods and services. The ideal candidate should have a strong
understanding of procurement processes, excellent communication skills, and the
ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
3. Responsibilities:
•
Procurement Coordination: Assist the Purchase
Manager in planning and executing procurement strategies to meet the
organization’s needs. Collaborate with various departments to identify
purchasing requirements and develop appropriate procurement plans.

Vendor Management: Source, evaluate, and
maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Obtain and compare quotes,
negotiate prices, and terms of agreements to secure the best value for the
organization.
•
Purchase Order Processing: Create and process
purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure that purchase orders
are properly documented and approved according to company policies.
•
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels
and assist in inventory control to avoid shortages and overstock situations.
Coordinate with the warehouse and logistics team to ensure smooth and efficient
stock management.

Quality Control: Work closely with the Quality
Assurance team to ensure that purchased goods and services meet the required
quality standards. Address any quality-related issues with suppliers promptly.
•
Cost Optimization: Continuously seek
opportunities to optimize costs and improve purchasing processes. Implement
cost-saving initiatives while maintaining the quality of products and services.
•
Supplier Performance Evaluation: Assist in
evaluating supplier performance based on criteria such as delivery time,
quality, and responsiveness. Provide feedback to the Purchase Manager to inform
supplier selection and contract renewal decisions.
•
Market Research: Stay updated on industry
trends, market conditions, and new product developments. Conduct research to
identify potential suppliers and alternative sources of materials and services.
•
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate
and up-to-date records of procurement activities, including purchase orders,
contracts, and vendor information. Prepare regular reports on procurement
metrics and key performance indicators.
•
Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with
company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all
procurement activities.
4. Qualifications:
•
B-Tech Mechanical / Electrical, Bachelor’s degree in
Business Administration and Supply Chain Management.
5. Preference:
•
B-Tech Mechanical / Electrical.
•
Female Candidates are preferred.
6. Requirements:
•
Proven experience in a purchasing or procurement role,
preferably in the relevant industry/sector.
•
Solid understanding of procurement processes, vendor
management, and supply chain concepts.
•
Proficiency in using procurement software and tools is
a plus.
•
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with
the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal
stakeholders.
•
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with
keen attention to detail.
•
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
in a fast-paced environment.
•
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and
compliance standards.
•
Familiarity with inventory management principles.
•
High level of integrity and ethical conduct in all
purchasing activities.
